The Code of Virginia requires that an applicant for a Virginia Concealed Handgun permit demonstrates competence with a handgun. One of the most widely accepted methods of completing this requirement is by taking a firearms safety class. Our class is a 5 hour classroom lecture that covers the basics of firearms safety. This class meets the state requirement to apply for your Virginia concealed carry permit. The lecture style course is taught by one of our certified NRA firearms instructors and a student manual is provided. You will receive a certificate at the end of the class which will allow you to apply for your Virginia concealed carry permit. The cost of this class is $60.00. Topics include:
