Why do we want you to bring your own handgun? Because that is the handgun that you will most likely be using in a self-defense situation! That is the gun you will be keeping at home, or carrying with your permit. Loaner guns are available, such as a .22 semi auto, or a .38 Special revolver, for example….but that may not be “your” gun. We would like for you to train with your gun to become familiar and comfortable with it, but we can assist you with a loaner gun if necessary.
