Basic Firearms Safety class – Phase One
You may select a 2012 class date when you complete the registration form

The Code of Virginia requires that an applicant for a Virginia Concealed Handgun permit demonstrates competence by taking a firearms safety class.
This class is the first phase in your firearms training.
Our introductory course is a 5 hour classroom lecture that covers the basics of firearms safety. This class meets the state requirement to apply for your Virginia concealed handgun permit. The lecture style course is taught by one of our certified NRA firearms instructors and a student manual is provided. You will receive a certificate at the end of the class which will allow you to apply for your Virginia concealed handgun permit.
Juveniles are welcome in this class when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Once you complete this class, it is highly recommended that you move on to Phase Two of our training program to learn more about the subject of concealed carry in Virginia.
