Payment / Registration Information:

You may register for any firearm training class online by visiting our Registration page.  When your registration form has been successfully completed, you will then be automatically redirected to our “pay now” link where you can pay with a credit/debit card. Payments are made through Paypal. If you wish to pay in another manner, you may pay by cash, check, or money order on the day of class. Please note that we cannot process credit/debit cards in the classroom. Checks returned for insufficient funds will be subject to a $20 returned check fee.

All classes remain open for online registration unless noted as closed next to a particular date.

**NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course**

This course may be used to apply for a Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit. Class includes both classroom work and live fire. Ladies only and co-ed classes available.

Course fee – $125.00

An informational course (non-certificate) about concealed carry in Virginia.

**Personalized shooting lessons / instruction**

Fee – $40.00 per hour

(additional shooting range fees apply)

Lessons will be conducted by appointment only.

One on one training sessions are available in one hour increments. Initial session requires two hour minimum.

Prerequisite – Completion of the Proactive Shooters’ Basic Firearms Safety class or current Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit holder.

Special Class!

The Nation’s Gun Show – Chantilly, Virginia

Proactive Shooters is proud to announce that we will be conducting our Basic Firearms Safety class at the Nation’s Gun Show in Chantilly, Virginia. This class will qualify you to apply for a Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit.

The class will be conducted on Saturday, April 21st, 2012 and Sunday, April 22nd, 2012 from 12 noon – 5pm each day. You only need to attend the class on one of the two days. The cost of the class is $69.00. In order to reserve a seat, you must register and advance payment is required. You may make advance payment via credit/debit card on our website, or by mailing a check or money order in to our offices before the class date. Walk-ins will be welcomed on the day of class and they may pay by cash, check or money order at the door on a first come, first served basis. The advance payment policy for these classes is due to the high number of students who register and fail to attend the class, or fail to cancel their registration.

Naturally, a seat held for a student that doesn’t show up means that other students are unable to attend the class. Many of our Nation’s Gun Show classes are sold out, so ”no shows”  impact everyone. Registrations received without an accompanying advance payment will not be guaranteed a seat in that class. Those registrations will be accepted on a “seat availability” basis.

Class location will be at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Chantilly, Va., located directly on site at the Nation’s Gun Show.

The hotel is located at 4335 Chantilly Shopping Center, Chantilly, VA 20151, and it is on site at the Dulles Expo Center, home of the Nation’s Gun Show.

Seating is limited, so early registration is recommended. Upon completion of the class, a certificate will be provided that will allow you to apply for your Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit.
